Supporters of Polish Village, also known as Old World Parma, have a vision.
The village, on Ridge Road between Pearl Road and Thornton Drive, might someday contain small “pocket parks.” Businesses would install plants near storefronts and beautify parking lots.
Red brick crosswalks would add color and character to Ridge. Kiosks with information about Polish Village-OWP would decorate street corners.
The village would feel like an arts district. Businesses would display artwork inside or outside their buildings…
