Old World Parma is a 501-c (3) non-profit organization committed to facilitating the ongoing development and revitalization of the Polish Village community by uniting and empowering residents, institutions, businesses, and governments with plans and initiatives focused on enhancing the area’s business climate and long-term economic viability.
What is Polish Village?
The newly designated “Polish Village” is a commercial district in Parma, OH that runs along Ridge Rd from Pearl Rd to Thornton Ave. It hosts the popular Polish Constitution Day parade and is home to Krakow Foods (a Polish deli) and the Little Polish Diner.
However, despite its name, you will find a wonderful variety of ethnic shops that include a Chinese restaurant, Indian restaurant, Lebanese restaurant, and Italian bakery. There are also a multitude of other offerings which include but are not limited to bakeries, grocery stores, comic book stores, pizza shops, hair salons, a barbershop, tanning salons, an ice cream parlor, pet care and grooming services, PC repair shops, a fast food restaurant, drug stores, and so much more.
